Sewage Treatment in Small and Medium-Sized Towns
As China’s urbanization process continues to accelerate, the number and scale of towns are expanding rapidly, leading to a significant increase in water consumption and drainage. If the severe water pollution caused by the expansion of towns is not effectively addressed, it will seriously impact people’s quality of life and water safety.
1.Characteristics of Municipal Sewage in Small and Medium-Sized Towns:
(1) Small population, lower water consumption standards, and small-scale sewage treatment.
(2)High variability coefficient, uneven water flow, and significant diurnal variations.
(3)Relatively low economic development level, weak economic capacity, and limited options for applicable technologies.
(4)Severe lack of maintenance and management technicians, as well as operational management experience. When selecting municipal sewage treatment processes for small and medium-sized towns, it is essential to ensure that the treatment meets discharge standards, the technology is economically viable, and the maintenance and management are simple and convenient.
2. Technical Advantages Existing engineering practices demonstrate that the Go Higher ‘s Flat Sheet Membrane MBR system offers the following advantages in urban sewage treatment:
(1) The membrane module replaces the gravity sedimentation in traditional activated sludge processes, significantly increasing the sludge concentration in the reactor.
