The two sides of the support plate are each provided with a membrane, the back side (permeate side) of the membrane facing the support plate, and the front side (feed side) of the membrane forming the permeation chamber 3360 is opposite to the front side of the adjacent membrane on the adjacent support plate, forming the feed chamber. Some membrane components are placed in pressure-resistant containers, some are pressed by bolts or hydraulic pressure, and some are folded and padded.

Plate membrane: What are the advantages of plate membrane?

1. There are many kinds of optional membranes.

2. By increasing or decreasing the membrane plate and diaphragm, the processing capacity can be adjusted within a certain allowable range.

3. Simple structure, high reliability of pressure change and field operation, and convenient operation.

4. The flow channel is smooth, and the diaphragm can be removed for cleaning after being blocked. The replacement and maintenance of the diaphragm are easy.

5. Since the permeate on each membrane plate is drawn separately, it is easy to find the damaged membrane by observing the filtrate quality of each membrane plate separately. For the filtrate quality unqualified membrane, the filtrate can be cut off separately, and its influence can be eliminated without stopping the machine.

6. Different kinds of diaphragms can be installed on the device at the same time for comparison.

7. The cross-sectional area of the original liquid flow channel is easy to increase, the pressure loss is small, the pretreatment requirement is low, and the processing object range is wide.

Plate membrane: What are the disadvantages of plate membrane?

1. The mechanical strength of the film is required to be high.

2. There are too many individual seals in the component, the sealing boundary line is long, and it is easy to leak after disassembly and assembly.

3. High cost. Bulk density can only reach 30~500 m2/m3.4. High energy consumption. The assembly process is short, and the hidden surface area of the feed channel is large, so the one-way recovery rate is low, the number of cycles increases, and the power consumption of the pump increases.

5. The internal pressure loss is relatively high, which depends on the turning flow of the fluid.

6. The cost of using metal materials to make membrane plates is too high. Using organic materials, the membrane plate is often cracked due to manufacturing process problems, and it is difficult to use high temperature sterilization, which limits its application range.

7. Changing the film takes a lot of time.
