GOHIGHER actively participated in the high-end forum of 2024 water treatment advanced membrane technology

From October 10 to 12, the 2024 Water Treatment Advanced Membrane Technology High-end Forum was successfully held in Beijing. GOHIGHER actively participated in the forum and gathered with well-known universities and scientific research institutes in the industry to discuss the research frontier, promotion and application and development direction of membrane water treatment technology.
From October 10 to 12, the 2024 Water Treatment Advanced Membrane Technology High-end Forum was successfully held in Beijing. The conference was hosted by the International Water Association (IWA) Membrane Technology China Expert Committee, undertaken by Tsinghua University and Beijing Low Carbon Clean Energy Research Institute, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing Forestry University, Ministry of Ecology and Environment Environmental Protection Film Bioreactor and Sewage Resource Engineering Technology Center, Beijing Bishuiyuan Membrane Technology Co., Ltd., National Energy Coal Clean Conversion Technology Research and Development (Experimental) Center and National Key Joint Laboratory of Environmental Simulation and Pollution Control. With the theme of "Future-oriented Membrane Water Treatment Technology Innovation and Development", this forum brought together more than 400 experts, scholars, business representatives and graduate students from universities, scientific research institutes, and business circles to participate in the conference to discuss membrane water treatment technology Research frontiers, promotion and application and development direction.

The forum set up five main topics, including new membrane materials and membrane modules, membrane process theory and new methods, new membrane water treatment technologies and processes, membrane water purification technologies and new pollutant removal, and sustainable membrane water treatment technologies. It was divided into 12 sub-venues for exchange and discussion, and a total of more than 130 experts, scholars and more than 50 graduate students made academic reports.

A Glimpse of the Thematic Forum
At the closing ceremony of the forum, Professor Huang Haoyong, Chairman of the IWA Membrane Technology Expert Committee, delivered a speech. 18 teachers and 20 graduate students won the Oral Report Award and the Graduate Report Award respectively. The forum ended with warm applause. During the forum, the IWA Membrane Technology China Expert Committee held a closed-door meeting, hoping to use the "Water Treatment Advanced Membrane Technology High-end Forum" series of meetings as a platform to continue to build a bridge for academic exchanges between domestic and foreign experts and scholars in the field of membrane technology, and promote "industry-university-research" In-depth cooperation, facing the future, and contributing more wisdom and strength to green, low-carbon and sustainable development.

The China Expert Committee on IWA Membrane Technology was established in 2016, with Professor Huang Xia from the School of Environment, Tsinghua University as the chairman. The purpose of the special committee is to establish a bridge between China's membrane industry and the global academic community. The work goal is to build a "industry-university-research" cooperation platform in the field of membrane technology in China, and to become a link for academic exchanges and scientific research cooperation between domestic and foreign experts and scholars in the field of membrane technology. Organize international and domestic academic conferences and improve the academic influence of domestic experts and scholars in the field of membrane technology in the international membrane technology.
